From the “Movie poster expert explains color schemes” video, I never noticed how much detail and thought goes into making these movie posters. It’s actually quite fascinating and is something I would like to study further in the future. I never noticed in comedy movies how the background was white and the letters were bold red in so many popular and iconic comedy movie posters. I always knew the negative space in these films meant something, but I never knew what it was for until now, which is to draw attention to the action or photo.
In the “How Stranger Things got its retro title sequence” video, I was also quite surprised how much detail and attention to how the title sequence communicates to the audience really went into its production. I always knew “Stranger Things” was highly influenced by the 80’s. It was cool to look into the exact inspirations that led to the final title sequence. I have also never skipped the title sequence because I love it so much!
