I really enjoyed watching “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” again. I haven’t seen it in so long so it was kind of nostalgic. I chose to review this film because it was said in the reading by Debroah Allison that the film stretches the definition of tech noir, although I did see a lot of the aesthetics of tech noir in the film “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”. For example the “Femme Fatale” character was very obvious in the film as the character “Jessica Rabbit”. I did see a futuristic setting in the movie, but I wouldn’t necessarily classify the film as sci-fi. The film doesn’t showcase a lot of futuristic elements, so while I did see similarities to tech noir I can see why some wouldn’t classify the film as tech noir as well.
